Submeter water-bill calculator

Enter the two meter reads and your utility's rate. No markup. Bill what you paid.

Enter your rate per gallon. If your bill is priced per 1,000 gallons, divide it by 1,000; per CCF (hundred cubic feet), divide by 748. Meters that read in cubic feet: multiply the reads by 7.48 to get gallons.

This calculator does what a submetered bill should: it takes the difference between the two reads, multiplies by your utility's rate, and adds your base fee. No markup. A tenant's bill should itemize the prior read, the current read, the rate, and the service period, so it's obvious the charge is at cost; that itemized read is also your answer if a bill is ever disputed.

Lot Sidekick does this on every bill automatically. Your manager keys the reads from a phone and each tenant's water line is itemized at cost. See how it works or call (425) 405-0734.
